Awesome, you're a 28 die hard shooter! Which one is your favourite ? Mines are the Summilux and the Summaron. Although I just reacquired an elmarit ASPH that I had been hunting for a long time. Silver.

Show us that silver Elmarit you devil.

Been wanting that gorgeous little thing… Can’t justify the price it goes for these days.

Count me jealous!

Yes, the titanium is a v2 👍

Wait...
Titanium doesn't automatically mean Version 2...
There was a Titanium of the Version 1.
But since Steven said it has the screw in hood, it must be V2 🤔

Sorry, I did not know. My titanium has a different hood than this one; it screws itself on.

My silver Elmarit, however, come with a clip on circular hood, so it's a version 1 I believe.

The Silver Elmarit arrived today. I had one last shot in a roll so I took this test portrait in the Kitchen and developed it. It seems to work. I kind of like the very modern rendering on film, I'm into this lately.

I suppose the closest rendering to the 28 elmarit in the 35 range is the Summicron 35 asph. Always disliked (to be polite) this lens on digital, but I might give it another shot on film

Nice. You might also try the 35 Ultron II since you liked the 28 Ultron II.

if it goes to F2 this would be a cron rather than an elmarit?

What’s a smeg ?

Your fridge in the back. Italian brand called SMEG.

Now you just need to shoot your kirchen window. 😉 All in jest - peace man! 👍🏻

I thought it was a question addressed to me, then I realised it was not. I actually didn’t even understand the question !

ok, in the picture there is a lens that goes down to F2 - that would not be an elmarit

We were speaking of the Titanium Cron. Hence the F2. The one pictured is the V1 Titanium Summicron, Steven himself has a V2 Titanium Summicron.

Discussing everything, everywhere, all at once 😂
He also acquired a silver Elmarit.

@Steven I'm curious which one you got? The "White Edition" with these white/greyish markings, or the one with black and red lettering?
