How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

It blurs the background well, when it is somewhat separated.

One of the things that usually happens to us, at least it happens to me, is that when you have taken a color photo you wonder if black and white would be better.

After reading and seeing photos I have realized the main thing that is the following:

- If the color photo communicates well, leave it in color.
- If what you want is to communicate an action or explain something, better black and white. The color is distracting.
(Most know this theory, but there may be those who are not clear about it).

These two photos that I have taken express very well what I want to say.

First black and white photo: Expresses the action well: "no, more photos".

Second photo Color: It expresses the same thing but when going in color the color of the dresses stands out and the action remains in the background.
