I'm totally getting why you went for pre-owned ZM.

Glad you understand it. I spent time and time thinking if it were a good idea, and not a downgrade. So far, I'm very happy, I¡'m really impressed by the lens performance

I have seven Zeiss lenses, for three mounts; only one was bought new. My four Leica-M lenses were bought pre-owned. If done carefully, buying pre-owned is financially rewarding, indeed.

100% Agree. Thanks for your feedback

Do you guys think is a good option to repair the lens? I heard that, after the repair, maybe the "rattling" issue can be resolved, but the lens will never be the same, I mean not so sharp and with perfect focus.

Is better a perfect performing lens, but rattling? Or choose for a maintenance? Is it risky?

Thanks for your feedbacks!

I have yet to use Zeiss customer service, but have read that they will repair the “Zeiss wobble.”
