I've always loved the 28mm on FF FoV. Here's the equivalent 35 Summarit on an (006). A very reflective building - the Time Warner Center in NYC.

S007 S70 in Beijing

On my way to visit an old friend, I passed the spot where Cartier-Bresson took a marvelous picture of some lawyers standing in front of the NY State Courthouse. He sure had an eye for architecture as well as for people and timing! All I had was the architecture (and a good place to stand).

 

 

That's the old Federal Courthouse in the background with the pillars in front.

 

 

My friend lives near the top of one of these buildings

 

 

Over 30 years ago, I took this picture from his balcony (Pentax 67 - my favorite camera of all time). That's the old Federal Courthouse on the right seen from the back.

 

 

I took the same picture a few days ago. Can you spot the NEW Federal Courthouse?

 

 

He used to have great views of the World Trade Center. The new courthouse blocked most of those, and the rest were lost to later events.

 

Well, there are still some views from his balcony. Here's the Financial District at dusk with the humbly named "New York by Ghery" building looming over all.

 

 

And a 6 shot pano in flatter light, but it makes for a 13000x6300 image for resolution fans.

 

 

And finally, a sunflower living on the balcony.
