It is indeed a 1964 Giulia Sprint Speciale, one of my favorites. This one is about as perfect as can be.

The car is a Ghia, the body maker produced it in a short run of 52 cars. Based on a Plymouth (!) Barracuda chassis. My wife loves it but I'm not so sure...

Since the last winner declined to post a photo and rather than let this popular thread stagnate, here's one to test your automobile knowledge. Have fun, guys.

Many thanks, John - I really enjoyed researching that one. Right, here's the next one.

Cheers, Ken.

(Apologies for the rubbish quality - the original is much sharper.)

Bon voyage, Pete - and remember to take some photos!

Cheers, Ken.

Spot on, Kent - well done. It is indeed a Lambda from 1928. Over to you.

Cheers, Ken.

I'm running out of bullets here! Fortunately there's another good concours down in Lexington weekend after next so I can reload.

Anyway, make and coach builder please:

Kent, I was straining at the leash on this one but since I'd fired one in last time I was restraining myself! A Delahaye 135? Like the Talbot-Lagos, Delahayes represent some of the (IMHO) most stunningly beautiful bodies of this period.

Cheers, Ken.

Figoni-Falaschi and Chapron did superb coachwork for Delahaye, Kent, so I'm guessing this beautiful example is by one of those? I think the F-F / Chapron designs on the high-end French makes (Delahaye, Delage, Talbot-Lago) of this period go beyond coachwork - more like works of art.

Cheers, Ken.
