kkochheiser Posted June 30, 2010 Share #201 Posted June 30, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) It is indeed a 1964 Giulia Sprint Speciale, one of my favorites. This one is about as perfect as can be. The car is a Ghia, the body maker produced it in a short run of 52 cars. Based on a Plymouth (!) Barracuda chassis. My wife loves it but I'm not so sure... kkochheiser Posted July 7, 2010 Share #213 Posted July 7, 2010 Looks like maybe a Lambda from the early '20s? I'm not so good on early Lancias but admire them greatly. Kent

kkochheiser Posted July 9, 2010 Share #217 Posted July 9, 2010 Nobody even wants to guess? It's French, from 1937. If I don't get any nibbles in a couple of days I'll move on to something even more obscure! Kent
Guest suilvenman Posted July 9, 2010 Share #218 Posted July 9, 2010 Kent, I was straining at the leash on this one but since I'd fired one in last time I was restraining myself! A Delahaye 135? Like the Talbot-Lagos, Delahayes represent some of the (IMHO) most stunningly beautiful bodies of this period. Cheers, Ken.
kkochheiser Posted July 10, 2010 Share #219 Posted July 10, 2010 Good job! For extra credit do you know who did the bodywork? This one was a great beauty. Art Deco and with the most marvelous blue gauges. Photos to follow. Kent
Guest suilvenman Posted July 10, 2010 Share #220 Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Figoni-Falaschi and Chapron did superb coachwork for Delahaye, Kent, so I'm guessing this beautiful example is by one of those? I think the F-F / Chapron designs on the high-end French makes (Delahaye, Delage, Talbot-Lago) of this period go beyond coachwork - more like works of art. Cheers, Ken.
