Einladung zu meinem 184. Fotospaziergang, dem 4. in 2024 Dieses Mal sind ausschließlich Leica Q-Kameras zugelassen. In meinem Umfeld gibt es überraschend Viele, die eine Leica Q ihr eigen nennen. Von Einigen weiß ich, dass sie die Leica Q erst ganz kurz haben und sich Starthilfe wünschen. Deshalb werden wir uns bei diesem Fotospaziergang fotografierend den Möglichkeiten der Leica Q zuwenden. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, was wir uns an vielfältigen Ergebnissen erarbeiten werden. Schließlich haben alle die gleichen Motive, das gleiche Licht, die gleiche (Kamera)Technik. Es kommt also ausschließlich auf deinen Blick, deine Kreativität an. Termin: Samstag, 6. April 2024 Ersatztermin: Samstag, 27. April 2024, sollte es am 6. April 2024 regnen. Uhrzeit: 15 Uhr Ort: Haupteingang Landgericht, A 1, 1, 68159 Mannheim Dauer: ca. 2 bis 2,5 Stunden werden wir unterwegs sein, danach können wir gerne noch auf ein Getränk einkehren. Wie komme ich hin: Straßenbahnhaltestelle „Schloss Mannheim“ Parkhaus: Parkgarage Universität Mensa und div. andere Ich freue mich schon sehr auf dieses Treffen.

Is it possible to set up the Leica Q to be used as a webcam for Zoom and other video conferencing meetings? If so, any suggestions on setting it up? -
Hello all. My Leica Q of two years all of the sudden shows a pretty severe Purple / Greenish tint to everything through the back LCD, but not in the EVF or the actual photo files. The issue popped up out of nowhere after a flight, and I've done everything I can on my end to fix it but nothing has worked. Anyone else have a similar experience? Really trying to avoid sending this thing in for however much that will cost to fix. Firmware is up to date. The photos attached are the difference between the back LCD and the EVF (Which has normal color). Apologies for the bunk iPhone photos but at least you can see the difference in color.

Hallo Q-Besitzer, wieviele Schüsse bekommt ihr mit einer Akkuladung hin? Achtung: Es geht mir dabei sozusagen um den hektischen Einsatz innerhalb von 1-2 Stunden. Z.B. bei einem Konzert. Habe irgendwo gelesen, dass sie für ca. 400 Shots ausgelegt ist. Als Vergleich: Meine M9 bekommt locker 900 Auslösungen hin. Mit der Canon 6D habe ich neulich 1800 geschafft und die Akkuanzeige war noch bei 66%. Angegeben ist sie mit knapp 1000. 2. Wieviel Zeit vergeht bis ein leerer Akku wieder vollgeladen ist? Mich interessieren Eure Erfahrungen. Vielen Dank und ahoi Carsten

hallo zusammen, kann es sein, dass nach dem aktuellen fw-update 3.0 immer die automatische wiedergabe eingeschaltet ist bei gedrücktem auslöser/direkt nach einer aufnahme? und kann es sein, dass dies vorher nicht so war? bei meiner 240 kann es wenigstens im menü eingestellt werden. nun scheint es aber selbst auf AUS immer eingeschaltet zu sein. ziemlich nervig immer ne preview zu erhalten wenn der finger den auslöser mal länger gedrückt hält. hat jemand ne idee wie man das umgehen kann? grüße -
After selling all my Canon L gear 24-70/2,8 , 70-200/4. 50/1,8 After shooting with iPhone 6plus I am coming to conclusion, that i search small camera with one lens. Not bag with all gear. My needs: -28 or 35 mm lens -50 mm lens -shooting wide open -shooting low light -travelling - simplicity - auto iso, aperture priority and rest is just enjoying photography - preferably 2 bodies - we shot both with my wife when with family or travelling I have tried Leica Q and was impressed with simplicity, speed, but 28mm seems to me to be too "deforming faces of people" and rather think about 35mm lens. I didnt like Leica CL - toy feel with strange wheels on back, and Leica SL is too robust like Canon DSLR... I am searching real photocamera - well build, but as small as possible. What set would you suggest me and why? Is there any web site comparing 35 and 50 M lenses with real photos? Money are not issue, i am going to do investment for the rest of my life and enjoy. M10+35mm - which lens? Leica Q50mm - autofocus and video (if it commes) or M10+50 mm - which lens? Leica Q - autofocus and video or just M10 with 2 lenses?

Hi there, I've noticed recently that when ON, Q makes this constant noise - sort of like hard-drive working/internal electonics buzzing... not the OIS element in lens when the camera is OFF, nor the clicky aparture sound). It's an electronic sound, just like a computer or other larger device emites... especialy noticable when I put my ear to the lens or LCD... but can be heard even from some distance, when the room is quiet... Is this normal? Should I worry? thanks

Hi, I'm just a new Leica Q user. I found slightly difference between JPEG and DNG. My personally I really love jpeg output color. It not too vivid and give cool look. However it really hard to change JPEG White balance in Lightroom Is there anyway to archive JPEG look in DNG? Here are example (JPEG left, DNG right).

So we have two 28mm Summilux lenses to choose from nowadays, the Summilux M and the Summilux Q. I am curious: For those who own and use both (and knowing this crowd, there has to be several who have both) which image rendering do you prefer, and why? Obviously there is way more that factors in to choosing between these two lenses, but my interest lies in the different rendering that the two lenses produce. Thoughts? -
Hello all, I just got a leica Q firmware version 2.0 from my friend. He said he purchased it in Hong Kong. When i'm using this Q, i found that it's slower then mine when i try to switch it off, and the leica logo become a exclamation mark before it turn off. The most interesting thing is that when i try to update the firmware from 2.0 to 3.1, every thing is normal but the version number shows 3.16 after it's updated. of course it keeps the hidden menu here until i go to the service menu and reset it. anyone had seen it before? and know how to access the hidden menu again? thanks alot!

Hi, i'm new to Q and curently i set AWB when i start shooting. My friend told me that he adjust manual White balance everytimes he shoot at diffirent enviroment. So what is your advice for white balance for Q? you do AWB or manual adjust it? Would love to hear from you guy. -

Hey folks - I just purchased a secondhand Q on eBay. It arrived today and I've been really enjoying the feel after shooting with a 240 over the last many years. But when I started seeing the images in Lightroom my heart sank. Can you take a look at this and tell me what I'm seeing here? Looks like the sensor is corrupted somehow? Thank you!

Hello everyone, I wasn't sure where to post this, Leica Q Forum or here. I am sorry if it's not in the right section. I am trying to disassemble my Leica Q but I am stuck. After removing all the screws I could find, from the front and bottom of the camera, I am still unable to remove the top frame with viewfinder. I am able to lift it a bit from the front side but the back side stays put. So I am wondering if there a know or fastener I am missing. If I try to lift the LCD back panel it lifts just from the bottom but I am unable to slide it nor remove it. It feels like the upper part is holding it for good. Is there someone who could give me a tip on how to proceed? The red square in the picture is the joint I am unable to open. Thank you for your time.

Presently I own the Leica M262, Q and CL. I've been wondering if I should pull the trigger and get an M10. But I'm not sure if there will be a significant difference with image quality, when comparing it against the Q and/or CL. I absolutely love the Q and haven't put much time into the CL - other than the lack of battery life I like. When I look at photos from others, I have to remember they are posting their very best images and most include some post work. I'm not a professional and I am new to the Leica family. Just hopeful to get a variety of feedback from those who might have different levels of experience and knowledge. Thank you

Hallo Forum, seit nun genau 30 Tagen besitze ich meine Leica Q. Ich bin verliebt in diese und möchte sie nicht mehr her geben. Nach normaler Nutzung und leichtem Kontakt mit Fototasche, Tisch und Kameragurt, stelle ich nun einen Patina Effekt an der Q fest. Die Gegenlichtblende hat schon ihre stellen und an der Oberseite habe ich eine leichte Kerbe. Das Gehäuse scheint recht empfindlich zu sein. Da ich parallel noch eine M8.2 besitze, kenne ich den Effekt von dieser. Jedoch dauerte es dort Jahre bis dieser Eintrat. Nun meine Frage an die Q Benutzer... ist das normal?

Moin Moin aus dem Norden, Ich habe mir eine gebrauchte Leica Q gekauft. Sie sieht sehr gut aus und soweit ich es einschätze ist sie technisch ohne Fehler. Sie hat nur etwas Schmutz auf dem Sensor. Meine Frage: was wird den gemacht bei einen Clean and Check? Und was kostet so etwas und wie lange muss ich rechnen. Liebe Grüße Michael

Sold my Leica Q last week in mint condition and I am having severe separation anxiety. I need to buy Leica Q in mint condition. But need help to decide: Should i buy Q or Q2? I have watched some reviews on YouTube that the colors / rendering and 24MP is a sweeter spot than Q2? Should I wait for Q3, launching most probably early next year? Due to my anxiety I will most probably buy either Leica Q or Q2 asap and buy Q3 next year as second camera if the upgrades are worthy. Any help would be appreciated and make me calm until I get Leica back in my Palm.
