In your opinion: Does the SL3 really need a screen protector or is the screen pretty much scratch proof?

If it's the same as the Q3 screen I would get a protector.

I have tried looking for a screen protector but cannot seem to find one, if anyone was able to find one for the SL3.

it's exact the same size as SL2 - you can choose original Leica "size 3" or any other for SL2
