After reading a number of the early reviews I conclude that the different reviewers are commenting on cameras with different releases of the camera's firmware, and none had early access to the version at the time of formal release.   This is to be expected in any software firmware development and testing process certain one being released in multiple languages.  What is the release number of the firmware in the current release.

The firmware is not on Leica's site at the moment. It can be installed only via the Fotos app.
