Leica Summarit-M 75mm f2.4 - image thread

Hi,

this beauty came the other day from Japan. For about $1400 I was able to buy a Summarit-M 75mm f2.4 in mint condition, including box, lens hood and lens cap(s).

I went out yesterday for a first shooting, the lens is as good as expected, a worthy replacement of the Summicron, which I decided to sell.

The lens is pretty rare, it was not easy to find pictures taken with this lens in the internet, especially WO and on modern M cameras, so I thought I'd open a thread in this forum and keep sharing as I shoot.

Leica, if you are listening, please, reissue this Summarit, make it even better.

Thanks.

I got mine this year in May, new, for 1590 euro (by the way, they still have one for the same price - silver!) - at Digital Camera Graz. Agree, the lens is price/performance winner!

Yup. We all know that. This thread was, it became clear, set up to be specifically 'exclusive'; the result being that, so far, only one other photographic post is not from the OP. Personally I will always contribute towards threads which favour being inclusive rather than exclusive.
