Amazing what AI fill can do, I selected the solar panel and the light (not the cable though) and it cleaned it up for me.

Leica CL - R 50 cron.  
Accurate AWB on this camera can be amazing, from OOC jpeg.  I use the natural setting with tweaks in the menu.

No colour correction needed.

I have been busy reshaping a Leica thumb grip which I acquired with a body.  It seems they don’t sell easily or for much money, and I can see why. They are quite hard on the thumb and wheel restrictive….but now mine is comfy, so back taking photos again like this…..entitled, “interesting shapes”…..taken for a family group year long comp.

I am very much enjoying working with the CL, the DNG are a delight and produce very good natural colour and DR.
The jpegs I find are pretty poor and bare no comparison to the DNG.  DNG are widely accepted, so thankfully it is not an issue.

Lightroom is easy with DNG.  I have dispensed with the histogram virtually all the time (in reserve) and find the meter scale is highly accurate, helped by the DR.  The mono conversion in LR produces beautiful tones which can be made to taste.

This is from a walk today with some dramatic sky and light which was pleasing in mono after conversion.

Bresson lives on.  But It would be so much better with 75% of the left black removed.

 

WOW….I removed some dark and could then just make out the other dark figure!  Spooky.  I lightened it, please forgive….love this shot of yours. 😀  Bresson would be proud.
