Who did design the Leica Summilux-M 28/1.4  ?
I checked the Leica Wiki and the designer is blank.
Wasn’t Karbe the chief lens designer at Leica in 2015 when this was released ?

The "offending" lens was the 12mm Voigtlander shown in post #165

Leica M240 with Noctilux 0.95.  I took the shot few nights ago during a walk close to the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC.  More about this statue is here  The file is OOC.  It is noteworthy that "Vaquero" in Spanish-speaking parts of the US is a cowboy or a cattle driver.  The strange thing is that if the "v" is pronounced "b"-- a common practice I observed in Central and South America--the word would be pronounced "Baquero".  Now, "Baqara" in Arabic language is a "Cow", and I wonder if the term Vaquero is used in Spain for a cowboy too.  And, the joy of using the Noctilux lens continues.

Leica M9, 35 Summilux ASPH FLE.

I don't have the M9 any more, but it converted to mono better than any other colour digital camera I've had.

Agree, M9 rendering in BW as well as color is really unique.
