farnz Posted October 31, 2012 Author Share #388 Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) The colours are wonderful and it has an interesting if wobbly appearance in out of focus areas. The shallowness of focus is very impressive and clearly shows with the grass(?) heads in the second shot. Pete. jaques Posted November 1, 2012 Share #390 Posted November 1, 2012 Kitten update #4. My time with these kittens is rapidly drawing to an end- I have found homes for them all and start to say goodbye over the coming days... but gladdened they are all looking forward to comfortable lives- lazing around and getting petted- not a care in the world This time two vintage Leitz lenses- first a collapsible 90mm Elmar from around 1955: Welcome, dear visitor! jaques Posted November 1, 2012 Share #391 Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) The next set taken with a very unusual modified/prototype (?) 1973 Summicron 50. The lens itself is pictured on this forum and (part of) its strange story was uncovered in a brilliant bit of Leica sleuthing by Luigi Bertolotti in this old thread: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-collectors-historica/116926-my-new-1954-m3-unusual.html#post1243216 it is a great lens-and the rapid focus lever came in handy with these fast moving beasties: Welcome, dear visitor! Keith (M) Posted November 1, 2012 Share #393 Posted November 1, 2012 Lots of interesting results from some quite exotic-sounding lenses! No such exotica from me but does a 1967 Summaron 35mm f2.8 count as old? Mounted on my 2012 MP using Acros100 dev'd yesterday in Rodinal. Taken last month in Sancerre. Welcome, dear visitor!
