  1. I was going to suggest Dwaynes, not that I've personal experience with them, but I've read good reports. I have a lot of Fuji c200 (Agfa Vista 200) and I like it, but I'm not too worried about grain. https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/205842-i-like-filmopen-thread/page/3196/?tab=comments#comment-3832100 Pete
  2. Adan wrote a nice comparison of two or three 21mm lenses somewhere. He posted some enlightening colour rendering comparison shots from a couple of lenses. He settled on a 21 preasph elmarit because of its colour rendering (as well as having good sharpness and low distortion, I think). Have a search for threads on 21mm lenses. Pete
  3. If you set the iso to 200 and go outside in the bright sunshine and set the aperture to f16, what shutter speed is your camera telling you to use when pointing at a brightly lit sunshiney scene? Pete
  4. That's quite a selection of Posing Pouches you have there Pete
  5. I wonder if this image would be so strong if it had distracting or no bokeh
  6. On seeing a good photo, I have never enlarged it to examine the corners. Pete
  7. I'm not that keen on cats so I prefer to think of it as my pee. Pete
  8. Get a new one. It will be yours and yours alone. Unsullied by another's hands. You'll also be supporting Leica's film division letting them know we're still out here. Pete
  9. How I wish politicians were honourable nowadays as was Tony Benn. Always trying to do what's right and not what's convenient or self serving. What a shower of politicians we seem to have in the main. Pete
  10. Have I missed further regulations for air travel? I thought a facemask was sufficient. Pete
  11. No, I don't think so. A good photo sets you off thinking. As I alluded to with Tom Waits' album name "Frank's Wild Years", when I look at this image I imagine a respectable man who's always played by the book always towing the line despite the injustices pressed on him but internally always wanted to rebel. Here we see him in his latter years having finally burst and enjoying the relief that brought 😂 Pete
  12. New title: "Franks Wild Years". Pete
