holmes Posted September 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can understand if they are busy running a wedding studio, or fashion shooting for the NY magazines. Any idea of the number of female photographers "inserted" into US combat units? As a man I will use the words, moron and idiot, plus brain dead to name just a few. Years ago when I was training basic trainees for the US Air Force my vocabulary ranged far and wide. But they were directed to the whole flight. No one could feel picked on, or left out. Wonder what Margaret Burke White of Dorothea Lange would think? If the purpose of this forum is to defend the action(s) at Solms please advise any prospective member that this forum exists to "praise", not question or criticize their actions taken. Quit defending Leica and it 's board, and get us more female members for their opinions and knowledge of Leica and photography.

Two actions I see hardly correlated ... who has to "get us more female..." ?? Forum has not specific ways to promote himself towards female photog world : anyway, I agree, and have sometime said, that more women on the LUF would be very appreciated. Luigi, I would expected they will be at Porto Rotondo with Sylvio Berlusconi :D Last time I was there at my friend's, I saw him at the port getting into a yatch with friends and a pretty girl with a M7 (no M8 at that time)... holmes Posted September 3, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted September 3, 2009 This was written in support of Jeanette who posted a different thread. I still would like to see and read imput from the ladies side. Again this is a sadly lacking area no one seems to want to attend to.
Sandokan Posted September 3, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 3, 2009 Well because of the two following: 1. All responses are asking what your point/question is 2. All responses are from men I would suggest that you re-phrase your question in a manner that elicits a serious response.

RPS Posted September 3, 2009 Share #13 Posted September 3, 2009 Tina -- nice work. It's an honor to view your portfolio.
Guest hC-Bp Posted September 4, 2009 Share #14 Posted September 4, 2009 Tina, a great pleasure to view your exceptional work. Being new to the forum it was a treat to see HCB pro quality amid the 'boys and their toys' techno-ramblings. You've set the standard. Results speak loudest . . . . In answer to the original question, may I suggest our female counterparts are out there in the real world practising their art rather than here in cyberspace, speculating Phil

pam.meier Posted October 12, 2009 Share #17 Posted October 12, 2009 I wish I could contribute something, but I´m quite new to Leica. I mainly photograph machinery *ggg* - with DSLRs *gasp*
pam.meier Posted October 13, 2009 Share #18 Posted October 13, 2009 So, the M8 arrived today and shortly before the sun was gone I photographed this rococo statue:
luigi bertolotti Posted October 13, 2009 Share #19 Posted October 13, 2009 Very fine pic, thanks for posting, Pam, and ...please... do not abandon the International Forum... I've nothing against the German Forum... A Leica forum can give some right to the native country of our brand... but really female presence is too scarce hereby...
