OK so a smidge off topic. but none the less "people"

 

Over the years I have been harassing my friend Bill, long time ago it got him into a Pro1 and for a while now he have been investigating larger frames and selective focus, resulting in him sending me endless web-links saying "is this a good idea?" when he picked up his Pro1 he actually left it in the box over the weekend while wondering if he should return it while it was un-opened.. so I kind of figured that this would never happen.

 

Eventually I resolved the issue by finding a used Bessa R on ebay and simply picked it up. Bill is now the proud owner of a 50cron, though that was not as easy as hoped either, we first picked up one at a store in Los Angeles, but discovered it was tooo scratched and could not hold contrast, it got returned for one from Camera West, this one was perfect with nice glass but a bit of coating on the internal surfaces.. After christmas it was delivered to Steves camera for cleaning.. now its back and wonderful. I still fell a bit guilty conning him into film, but the results have been worth it, and Bill is thrilled with the images...

 

So there is it, I have done my part and dragged one more user into the Leica fold.. Now the question is, are YOU doing your part.
