DMR color is really nice. Do you need to post process this a lot? Particularly the colours.

The DMR colours are REALLY good, but not out of camera, white balance especially is usually off so I usually set it manually at 5400K then fix it in post process.

Then the colours are usually better then from my M9...

On this picture I did the same, but I added a VSCOfilm filter to emulate Kodak Portra 160 :D

Cool camera, you seem to be enjoying it :)

I know of one Lux 80mm for sale from UK top dealer (& LUF sponsor), if £1600 palatable drop me PM.

Lens description

I would love to, but 1600 is far too much I see them pass by for between 1200-1400 euro... in good state and recently saw a beater for 950 euro...

I'm not gonna buy before December anyway, got to save up a bit for other things in life.

Way to go, prolonged anticipation will add to the enjoyment of using this splendid optics.

With DMR crop factor I recon you will get approximately 105mm lens equivalent which is famous portrait focal length in Nikon mount.

One of my first test photos with my new to me R8/DMR. Converted from DNG to Jpeg in Flecolor.

Here she is. She came with the 35-70 F4.0 but I already had the 35-70 F3.5 so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that one. Being non ROM I may keep it for dedicated use on my R6.2.

I also have a Summilux 80, Macro 60 and a Telyt R 250 F4.0 so I'm good for now.

I would really like something wider than 35mm but I prefer to buy local rather than on-line so I'll see what pops up ;)

I really like the 35-70 f4 it's really good and unlike the front of the lens shows it is ASPH!

If you want online lessons in Lightroom I give them through Skype. Pm me for details if you want.

My R4 with Vario-Elmar 35-70mm f/3.5 and Leica SF-20 flash and below that is a sunset shot I took hand held in A spot mode with Portra 160....maybe slightly underexposed on the right side but I still like it.

Long ago I owned a SL, SL2, R3 and R8 (with the hopes of adding a DMR, which never materialized). My absolute favorite was the somewhat beaten up SL2 shown below:
