Advertisement Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Hi naturephoto1, Take a look here let's see your R. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Keith (M) Posted December 14, 2012 Share #342 Posted December 14, 2012 I can't believe it. There's actually some sun outside, here in the north of Europe. Time to take Brünhilde and Gertrude out Excellent choice of names - so is the Rollei 'Brünhilde'? (just seems a little more appropriate than 'Gertrude' for some reason...) sfage Posted December 14, 2012 Share #343 Posted December 14, 2012 You are correct! The Rollei is Brünhilde

algrove Posted January 26, 2013 Share #351 Posted January 26, 2013 Beautiful. I love the 280/4. I wish could also add a 80-400/4 to my R. Enjoy! 80-400/4? I know the 80-200 and the 400, but not that one. I discovered I have 3x 80-200/4 all pristine.

By the way, I sure like that Leica stereo setup on post 93! Also, what's the difference between these threads "Let's see your R" and "I love my Leicaflex?" They both talk about how great "Rs" are right? Should the two threads be joined?
lct Posted February 2, 2013 Share #354 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) 2 x 80-200 = 1 x 80-400 perhaps? Just a typo. Leicaflex, Leicaflex SL and Leicaflex SL2 are R (reflex) bodies for sure but are a class on their own in that they are 100% Leica cameras contrary to their successors R3 to R7 which were based on Minolta bodies. thebarnman Posted February 2, 2013 Share #355 Posted February 2, 2013 2 x 80/200 = 1 x 80/400 perhaps? Just a typo.Leicaflex, Leicaflex SL and Leicaflex SL2 are R (reflex) bodies for sure but are a class on their own in that they are 100% Leica cameras contrary to their successors R3 to R7 which were based on Minolta bodies. I guess that also includes the R8 as far as the Minolta influence comes in. Where is there a Minolta that looks like a R7/8???
lct Posted February 2, 2013 Share #356 Posted February 2, 2013 R8 and R9 are 100% Leica cameras. R3 was based on the Minolta XE-7 and R4 to R7 on the Minolta XD-7/XD-11.
thebarnman Posted February 2, 2013 Share #357 Posted February 2, 2013 R8 and R9 are 100% Leica cameras. R3 was based on the Minolta XE-7 and R4 to R7 on the Minolta XD-7/XD-11. Your right. I meant to say R8/9. So does that mean I can start posting in the "I love my Leicaflex" thread??? I have an R9.
lct Posted February 2, 2013 Share #358 Posted February 2, 2013 You can post where you want but your R9 is not and will never be a Leicaflex.
thebarnman Posted February 2, 2013 Share #359 Posted February 2, 2013 So what's the difference between Leicaflexs that are 100% Leica and the R8/9 that's also 100% Leica?
