Like my SL3 too much

So I will get a second one at first chance.

Just tried my M 18/3.8 on my SL3 and the corners are amazingly similar to the same lens on my M11. To me this was going to be the most challenging test of the SL3 with the M lenses that I own.

Good to hear.

I have not tried my Super Elmar M 18mm lens on my new SL-3 yet. My results with the SL2 and this lens were not good. I have to check it out this weekend.

I did not buy the SL2, but do have the SL2S which I have not tried with M lenses other than my Noctilux.

Yes, please offer your opinion on this combination.

I have the lens (SEM 18) and the SL2-S. I would like to hear your conclusions after testing the lens on both cameras.

As I am NOT a pixel peeper, you might want an opinion from one of those. I do not see smearing in the far corners of the SL3 image taken around the same time (5-10 minutes apart) as the M11 images. To me that is good enough.

Loving my SL3 and though I have a great selection of  Leica SL glass...I now find myself thinking about trying some M lenses, my first acquisition will likely be choosing one of the Leica 35mm M's...

This and other threads have nudged me into exploring the M lenses on the SL system🙂

I’m not a pixel peeper either. Just your opinion of the lens on both bodies is good enough. I don’t have both cameras.

Sorry, Can't help you there. I have a second SL3 on order for K to try. If she likes it, I'll get a third. :)

Gordon

Man that is VERY bad news. Stop your positive comments on the SL3, please, so I can get up the list for a second SL3.
