Just checked the feed however can’t find any SL3 references?

Yeah, because he can’t mention it before the embargo which ends today. But in his reels, you can see him using the camera and it looks like he shot everything there (Paris Fashion week) on the SL3

Nothing special, but my first wildlife shot with the SL3. A female roedeer. SL3 with APO Telyt R 280/4 plus 1.4x TC. 160/sec with ISO 4000.

I really like that animal detection also works with manual focus. You see a frame around the animal(s). When you press the joystick the detected animal gets magnified, but not the eyes (yet). Animal detection is still a beta function.

Still, this backs up Jono's claims that there is clean detail deep, deep, deep in the shadows.

I have struggled with my M11 lately and I wanted to test off-center focus with a shallow depth of field.  Eyes are not what they used to be.

Also wanted to test the tilt screen so I was holding the camera above my head.  Not sure I could have gotten this with the M11.

I played a bit yesterday with SL3 and my 50 M Lux. Worked as a charm, but so it did with SL2, too. Pushing the joystick invoked the zoom on the 
selected focus point for critical focus. Fast and precise. My eyes can't do it so fast and good with M camera.  I really enjoy using M lenses on my SL2 and
that won't be changing with SL3 if I get it at some point...

PS. Will come with an image produced by this combo a bit later
