Bag for Leica Q3

I love the Tendba DNA 8... you can grab it through a zipper on the top. I'd check them out to see if they're a fit for you. There is enough room for the charger/cord, and a few other things. They have the 9 now but you can still find the 8 out there. https://tenba.com/dna/

Good luck in your search.

It is not enough to have a Leica to respond in a dignified manner!

Not sure what is wrong with the bag I posted. It’s a nice and well designed bag, it’s sturdy and will protect the Q. Has a strap and an handle, so you can choose to carry it crossbody or carry it by hand. Certainly it’s more dignified than a cheap and ugly average Lowepro.
Besides, Leica had a collaboration with Hermès, so why not a Louis Vuitton?

Just as a reminder, the Hermès set was priced at 50.000$, the LV bag is a bargain by comparison.

I was curious, so I checked the price.

Almost 10k usd. I’ll save that money for Q4…

That was also my first reaction. Moreover, what is the user going to do with the bag when actually using the camera? Leave it on the floor where it can be stolen?

😃 😃 😃

You can carry it crossbody with the strap, like literally every single bag out there.

So... 1/5 of the Hermès edition, and still less than a M11 + a Leica lens.

A bargain!

If there is one thing I have learned from the internet, it’s that all Leica owners are just filthy rich fools that spend ridiculous amounts of money on cameras that are just jewellery anyway.

I will take ten of those bags! Just because I can!* 🤣

*may not actually be true… ;)

I think the Peak Design bags are proportionately priced, well-designed and well-built. I bought this one for when I want to carry just my Q3 and a few other things, I am very happy with it, (I tried the 3L and found it just a little too small.)

Well, wifey just sold 2 LV bags. 8-10 years in heavy use.

Loss? Not a single cent!

I went with a peak design every day bag.
this bag is disappearing in public. You don’t feel it and it’s stealthy.

for my Olympus om2 I had the first tenba.
I loved that you could make it bigger and smaller if needed.

cheers

I am sorry: I find your first sentence ambiguous. Do you mean by "disappearing" that it is "invisible" in public?  Or that people steal them from your back?

Best,

David

Yes invisible. Stealthy.

But maybe you want to steal it,he?

by the way the tenba got stolen but not on the street.

Thanks for the clarification. I have often wondered whether thieves could just cut the straps when the bag is behind you and make off with the bag without you being able to stop them.

David

They can.   Over the years have had two customers who had the basic scenario.

Someone distracts them (ask direction or some such)…someone comes up from behind with one of those evilly sharp box cutters, slices a strap, yanks and they were gone.

Unfortunately a determined thief is often successful.

That’s why as mentioned in another thread always have insurance or a no fault warranty coverage that includes theft.

This only strengthen my suggestion. Nobody would dare to cut the strap of a Luis Vuitton bag!
