No issues, 

I’m using Delkin Black and Lexar 1667x cards.

I would get a Q and reserve a Q3. Never liked the iso performance or colors off the Q2.

90mm crop looks sharp and really good for what it is, better than 75 on the Q2.

I have a couple events coming up so real world tests await. 

You are a little gutsier than I.  However, I did bring the Q3 to a large get-together (non-paying) and it worked fine.  AF was accurate and snappier than I expected.

I am a Q 2 user and have previously owned an m262 camera ,it may be useful for you but its ugly and a design failure for me and " jono" should at least have touched on the subject.

The "verge" is unbiased at least in terms of reviews , i am not saying the Q 3 is a bad camera what i am saying is that the design is poor.

Can we please stop the rudeness here? You know full well that Grayson is a man. He’s happily married to a woman who is a psychotherapist, and also in the media here.

He is one of the UK’s top artists and appears on TV both as himself and as his alter-ego.

There's a lot of music I don't like. I recognise it is high quality in every way though, just not something I enjoy listening to.

Likewise the Q series. I had a Q (1), I thought it was a superb camera. I ended up selling it after 18 months because I just didn't like being forced to shoot 28mm all the time.

Since then I have no interest in Q2 or Q3, despite the facility to crop. For me though it remains a well built, well designed camera that produces fantastic images.

Almost all reviews on camera products are either from people promoting or with a vested interest in the product or have a camera for a few hours and then make a review so reviews are mostly useless full stop in my view.

That is not to say that jono slack is lacking in integrity but the leica connection has to be factored into his review in my view.

I have been reading Jono Slack's many posts here, and reviews, since I joined in 2011. I have bought some of the cameras and lenses he has reviewed. I have had plenty of opportunities to judge the validity of his reviews.

Indeed. Jono gets the gear to test for weeks or possibly months and is under no obligation to gloss over negative aspects. Internet reviewers use  the camera for an afternoon or possibly a couple of days  and hurry home to write their clickbait. I know whom to trust

Yes you can indeed take photos without a tilt screen, but a tilt screen makes taking certain pictures so much easier.

Obviously it depends on the use but I always found a flip screen preferable, if only because it can be reversed to protect the LCD.

I’ll argue that one…all the ‘self driving’ technology now means I get to share the road at high speed with drivers who can’t park their own cars or know how to shoulder check.

Or worry about AI making my job redundant.

Flip screens may be convenient for you, my comment was aimed at the people who were claiming it made the Q3 so much better than the Q2.  The people who want the camera to do everything for them.

Some people never learn to park properly no matter what. Assisted parking will make life easier for everybody. It's just a matter of time until we'll have 100% driverless cars.

Sorry, but with or without tiltscreen, the function of the camera is the same, so this argument doesn’t apply.

 I want a tiltscreen cause of the wlf experience.

Nuclear weapons are a pretty good example.

Technology in itself isn’t bad, humans ability to ethically use it is sometimes suspect.

Yes, I amended my statement to that effect.

With auto technology…it isn’t the tech that is bad…it’s that there is a percentage of people who will use it as an excuse to completely absolve themselves of responsible use of the tech.  Tesla states in their manuals that the driver still needs to be aware and in a position to override the systems when needed.

So…I’ll grant you that tech isn’t the problem…humans are 😂
