Alistairm Posted June 10, 2022 Share #7 Posted June 10, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Goodness. I'm not normally one for the limited edition stuff, but this is just perfection.
Herr Barnack Posted June 10, 2022 Share #8 Posted June 10, 2022 (edited) IMHO, this set is the most beautiful M camera set I have ever seen. If I had $20k in discretionary spending cash and could lay hands on a copy of this set, I would snatch it up in an instant. There are going to be 250 extremely fortunate owners of this master work - present company excluded. 😢 Edited June 10, 2022 by Herr Barnack
Huss Posted June 10, 2022 Author Share #9 Posted June 10, 2022 Looking at the pics is making my teeth sweat… what is interesting is these are from camerawest and are from one they apparently are checking over. So they have it in hand.

kivis Posted June 10, 2022 Share #12 Posted June 10, 2022 If I had the cash and the access, I would buy this as my last film kit, at least till the next edition comes out.
wattsy Posted June 10, 2022 Share #13 Posted June 10, 2022 I'm obviously in a minority but I'm not a fan. It does look beautifully made but the finish for me is a bit dull. I genuinely prefer the silver chrome standard version.
Ouroboros Posted June 10, 2022 Share #14 Posted June 10, 2022 Looks nice, I agree, but these limited editions are not for me. I’d take a standard version on a world tour instead, put some film through it and probably still have cash left over. 11
Guest Posted June 10, 2022 Share #15 Posted June 10, 2022 I wonder which customers Leica prefers for these special editions: flippers or users. I assume flippers because they contribute to the result of future auctions, which helps raising the brand profile even further. Some pictures in the "I like film thread..." can't achieve this. I am pretty sure we will see an M-A Titan set at the next Wetzlar auction later this year.
comte de Mazan Posted June 10, 2022 Share #16 Posted June 10, 2022 I don't like it, too cold. I much prefer to feel the warmth of the brass under the black lacquer of my 18 years old MP.

Moreover, there seems to be quite a gap between the lens body and the camera body (where the lens attaches to the camera).
overexposed Posted June 10, 2022 Share #18 Posted June 10, 2022 well my dealer informed me i am 4th on the list for 2 expected deliveries.....i have a feeling where this is going
ktmrider2 Posted June 10, 2022 Share #19 Posted June 10, 2022 It does not do anything for me. I think I would go with black chrome on the MA or black paint on the MP. But before I would buy either, I would get a black paint M4.
ianman Posted June 10, 2022 Share #20 Posted June 10, 2022 I don't understand what the fuss is all about. Who would want one of these to use over the standard model? Is the only reason in hope for a good ROI?
