Here’s a photo to go with my previous list.  An additional item that I didn’t include in my list or this photo is my Gorillapod 5K.

I have the same bag. It’s really nice but soooooo heavy

It is heavy and I would say it is very well constructed. I know there have been some issues out there but many people swear by these Ona bags.

@aral70 Which buckles are you referring to?

I just bought a brown leather ONA Union Street which will be even heavier, particularly as I will be adding some more gear when I use that. I'll include a pic of that bag and its contents when it arrives. I also bought 2 Hyperion rope straps that you may like to see.

I'll get a Billingham Hadley Pro 2020 in a month or so for a lighter option.

My ONA Union Street bag arrived and I love it! I won't load it up like this unless travelling, but it gives me space for camera gear I want to carry each day plus other everyday items I may choose to carry. As you can see, even with all that gear, there's plenty of space.

It also allows me to carry my 15" laptop for work.

I may dye it a darker brown though but I'm torn. My other new additions (which can easily fit in this bag) are:

Leica R-135/2.8

K&F Concepts R to M Adapter

Voigtlander 21/25 metal viewfinder (wow this is so bright and clear)

Items I already had that weren't in my Berlin II:

Rocket Blower

Samsung T7 Touch SSD 2TB

SD Card Reader

Cable Pouch

One of my pens (made by a local bus driver I met who does this for a hobby)

Hey you, the Lab on the couch, wanna come play?  You look bored, just as I am when Hooman Dad pulls out his Leica!

A few days off. On vacation close to home. My M10 bag today.

M10 + 35 Summicron I Asph + big strap and hood attached. In a Tamrac pouch for DSLR big lenses 🙂 easy to carry and put on any backpacks. Happy I found a new perfect fit for my one camera/lens travel kit.

The older I get, the smaller the kit.   On good days, M10R, 24 3.8,  35 2.0 ASPH,  50 2.0 APO,  90 4.0 micro,  Really good day ,  add 75 2.0 APO & 135 4.0.

Average day,  m10r with 50 2.8 Elmar M.   In college days when I was poor,  all I had was 50 Nikkor glued on a body whose name escapes me.  Lens was good.  body was junk.  Important point is I took really nice pics for 6 years with one lens.

Found the name.  Waltz Envoy.

Less than average,  I stay home

Who makes that bag?

It's Oberwerth M bag.

Ugh. $700 for a camera bag - I think I'll stick with my Peak Design slings for now. Does look nice though....

Yeah, somehow I got mine for $599, not sure why, but usually is $699. PD slings are fantastic, I use them all the time.

In my opinion, the difference is that this leather bag looks even better with wear over many years, and it's not something I'll throw away, while PD, I changed 3-4 in the last 3-4 years. They are disposable, cheap, I don't care about them, and these leather goods I love more as they age.

The SL version is $1k… crazy like Leica.

That's the only SL bag that I really love how it looks, but never wanted to pay $1000 for it, so I ended up with PD sling and all kinds of backpacks.

I needed a larger bag when I first bought the SL2 and the two longer SL zooms and SL75. I found a nice store demo Oberwerth Porto (the predecessor to the SL bag) for $600.  But I never bonded with it; too structured, heavy and bulky. I traded it for an all black Billingham Hadley One, which similarly accommodates my system, but in a more user friendly style (with better weather sealing).  I also use the small Billingham Rucksack 25 for the system when I prefer a backpack to a shoulder bag.

I've never really found a bag I've liked, mostly because, well, they're a bag... and I hate carrying bags. Lately I've been using a PD Field Pouch with Leash strap to throw a couple of lenses in for a walk around. No dividers, but I found something in the camera closet that works to keep them apart. Zero weight to the field pouch - sometimes I forget I have it with me.

Billinghams are the best imo if you do want a traditional bag. Durable, practical, stylish but not over the top, and good resale value. Bigger ones get too heavy though imo. I still have a small black one I won't ever sell.
