Some "lockdown" related pics

(And yes, I too smile to myself as I drift to sleep. It's the perfect camera for me)

A nice, but not a particularly remarkable, photo . . .

Until you realise it is an extreme crop taken from the deep shadows of this photo . . .

The M10 Mono coupled with 50mm APO lens is one very special camera!

Your photo is the clearest example I’ve seen of what makes the M10M unique and special. Shadow recovery. Thanks.

Great shot!  Do you have any on the bridge itself, to see how empty it is?

Thanks!

I had just driven over to Dumbo to check out how empty it was, haven't made it up on the bridge yet.

Going to do some more walks this weekend.  Its quite surreal.  I've been in LES/E Village/Union Sq/SoHo/Dumbo, and it's just so empty.  SoHo stood out the most.

Drove through Midtown on Good Friday and it's unbelievable how empty it is..

M10 Monochrom/APO 50

This is the very first test photo taken yesterday afternoon with my brand new M10M.

Happy as a pig in mud, though first up I found the funny little

shutter sound rather startling.

M10M 75mm APO-Summicron ASPH f2 at f/3.4, ISO 160, 1/1000 sec, yellow filter

Looking for gastroliths.

I know this looks like a pretty silly photograph, but there's something about it all that makes me smile. A teeny tiny sparrow pecking at stones in the relatively shallow depth of field, among all that expanse of otherness. I couldn't resist being obscure with the title either. I've attached a full resolution crop of the bird, for interest's sake.
