How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Yesterday, the new bluebirds came up to the perch with both parents. These are the two most recently hatched chicks. They still depend on the mom and dad to feed them. Mom does that, but the dad mostly tries to ignore them.

Not well composed or focused, but you get the point. The dad eventually flew back to the birdhouse, leaving the two chicks waiting for the mom to return. 

Mom tries to ignore them too.

Eventually, the two chicks are left to fend for themselves.

Male on the left and female on the right. Siblings.

Almost spring in Perth W Australia and Aaraluen botanical park is one of my favourite places to take pictures.

This camera really rocks I've been using many Leica's here over the year and this is my favourite camera and lens combination for this work.

The blossom of a castor oil plant - 3 days later already gone. With SL 2 and Sigma 100-400 plus 2 ply extender. The plant is highly toxic - esp. the fruits.

Agapanthus - SL2 and 90/280 at 280 mm. A wonderful lens, heavy but wonderful. Would appreciate if Leica could deliver a 2ply extender for it - although that would result in a higher weight. And even if the price would be a high one.
