Interesting shot with a Q2! The whole thing reminds me of when I used to photograph tigers in Bandhavgargh—but using a Canon and long lens. I have so many happy memories of the game drives in the early morning…never knowing when you might see a beautiful tiger padding along the "road" and always alert for chital alarm calls. How I  envy you the experience!

I just bought my Q2 so this is a first attempt to upload, and to ask advice on two aspects.  I cropped this photo to a 1:2 ratio and I used Capture One 21 Pro with their processing recipe.  Their default sharpness setting for screen sharpening is Amount 80, Radius 0,6 and Threshold 0.  Those of you who create your JPEG images for posting here, is this default sharpening recipe the best compromise?  When I recipe proof before processing the image looks much sharper than in the forum post.

You must click the preview to see the full res image in the image box and click again on the "+" to enlarge. Actually it looks oversharpened to me - it has gone brittle and shows haloes (especially on the trees at the left).

Which processing recipe did you use? I find a slightly modified version of the Facebook recipe is fine - I rarely add any sharpening to Q2 images.

Very nice shot. fantastique. I also use Capture one. I hardly use default settings. I adjust what I think that needs to be adjusted ( contrast - highlights - clarity - shadows - black - sharp - eventual B&W with a filter -.... ). Until I have a result that I like. And then I post it. This image here is very nice. Hope to see more of your work.
