sblitz Posted May 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hope I have his genes .... though mom did make to 89 ... he is the one who got me interested in photography and he still has his Leica iiif plus dozens of cameras he regularly bids for on eBay ... keeps him busy ... and he still uses photoshop and sends me back pictures that I took that he now thinks are better ... just goes to show you that after work you have to keep the mind active ... sblitz Posted May 22, 2018 Author Share #16 Posted May 22, 2018 He is certainly happy at that moment! I hope I look so good at 96. Shit, I wish I looked that good today at 72! Its all in the genes, hope I have enough of his .... saw enough in his life, Depression, Omaha Beach, Battle of the Bulge, to make him look older then again its probably why he is happy to have survived (life after the war wasn't a walk in the park either, but we can skip the personals for the purposes of this forum).
