How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I was trying to focus on the lotus but wasn't getting close enough.  I decided to add on the Macro Adapter, was trying again when suddenly the bee flew in.  I instinctively pressed down on the shutter.  M10 Macro-Elmar-M.  The second with a Macro Adapter.

During the same session with the lotus above, my wife spotted a hummingbird and I went for it, sure that it wouldn't come off.  After a 50% crop and a little brightening it seems to have worked.

I never realised until I saw these pics that Leica have yet again changed the format of the battery. I have three or four spare batteries for my M9 which would be useless for an M10. A bit of a turn-off really. Maybe I won't get an M10 after all.
