Here is my steel grey M9 which I chose over the M9-P because I like its bauhaus, utilitarian but modern looks. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade it to the P yet as It still looks as new as it was despite very heavy use.

I was reading with interest all of your post...I'm studying about Leica, but need your experience for an important decisione I'd like to take...

I would like to buy a Leica (after many years with DLSR Canon) and which one I should take...M9-P or a M-E...?! Reading a lot of posts and Leica Catalouge I know that M9-P is not anymore in assortment, but I have more possibilities to buy a well used one's!...

Maybe, but I still tape over with black electrician's tape the engraving on the top plate, which, in white, just stands out too much; so, I really prefer the M-Monochrom look.
