That sounds a bit steep given the external condition and it may be cobbled together to salvage a camera or someone just liked the look. But maybe it's worth that to someone if was just CLA'd and it works perfectly, IDK. I'd probably look for one in better condition though.

I do that from time to time but not around others that may bump it and knock it over.

I find the tan leatherette inspiring. Thanks for the picture. Maybe, at some time, a solution for my M4P in black chrome.
