The fetching metallic green is not the original colour (nor option)

I thought of a little french maker (like Panhard, DB, Simca, Matra or the like - not that I can remember those little fins at one of those brands).

 

By saying "... not the original colour (nor option)" this should be (in whatever amount) series car you could order, so no prototype.

Yes it’s a regular model produced for 2 years (though not in large numbers)

What I meant was that I do not believe the colour that particular car wears was available from the marque when it was built ie it was not an option. This particular car was originally red.
