Well, there must be a reason for this Adler design has so many elements of the VW (even the back window shape)... could it be that Ferdinand Porsche had some assignement / consultancy from Adler on this project ?

Luigi, there is an influence, but Porsche was not consultant for Adler as far as I know.

The designer of that Adler was Karl Jentschke, a former austrian pilot, one of the first 1.000 licensed pilots worldwide. Later he became an engineer and his pilot background may have helped designing streamlined cars, but that was becoming popular anyway. In the 1920´s he began to work at Steyr car company under Hans Ledwinka (chief engineer of the streamlined Tatra 77). In the 1930´s he followed Ferdinand Porsche as chief engineer at Steyr. The Steyr 50 "Baby" was one of his projects at Steyr.

Now you see, why the Adler Type 10 looks like it does ;)

Wow, I didn't ever see the Steyr Baby ! It's a lot nice !! expecially front and sides... the back isn't up to the rest). Definitely, the car design of the last '30s in Germany and neighbours was at a very exciting level of refinement... a popular car like the Fiat Topolino A was much more trvial in this sense.

That Morgan seems to have some modification issues, but we don´t have to discuss that here as it is a special Morgan 4/4.

If only I´d better keep my big mouth shut, now I have to find another interesting car ...........

....... got one. Model and maker please :)
