1. So I bought my first Leica M6 0,72 TTL couple of weeks ago and was finally getting my roll developed at a Local lab here in Stockholm. Getting back the rolls I saw leaks on the negatives and prints, going from the first few frames, then skip a few frames and come back at frame 10-12. After that nothing on the rest of the roll. Some have leaks going across from perf to perf and on one or two frames it only occurs around the perfs but not affecting the image. And it's not on the same spot of the frame, it moves back and forth. I shoot a 400 Kentmere factory loaded. The seller says that he never had problems with leaks of the camera, but is very helpful to help me get this sorted. Anyone know what this can be? I really hope it's the film, waiting to get back my second roll and hoping for the best...
2. This is a park which belongs to an attraction of a rock formation from the ice age moraine. It is an hour's drive from my home so one can be there at 7 a.m. very easliy. But recently I found myself not being the only photographer there. Somebody else enjoyed this early morning bliss as well. Olympus EM 5 + Nocticron
3. That day in early october started promising with a cold temperatures, clear air and a golden light. I decided to roam ina nearby park on a hill in my hometown. Light was gorgeous so I could not make up my mind and processed a bw series from those pictures which were being planned as such. Olympus EM 5 with Summilux
4. Coming of spring is keeping us in suspense this year. But due to cold temperatures we have clear air and chsnging light provides interesting situations. Thus we went to a nice location from which one has a good view. It was saturday before Easter and if you look closely a few bonfires and namely their smoke can be seen. After this shot sun went don wuickly and the whole area was pestered with biting smoke. Canon 5D MKII with R Elmarit 28 mm - pano stitched out of 3 pictures
5. Here are now somes samples of golden autumn colors. The trees have only started now turning into yellow. I wonder whether there will be really strong colors his year. I think one has to wait a bit more. Still, deep in the forest there is much green. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit R 28 mm
6. This is part 2 of my bw series. Sometimes bw is "color" enough. The rich shade of monochrome tones is amnifold and exciting enough. Olympus EM 5 with Nocticron 43 mm
7. Late september I was in Hong Kong for a fortnight and we could explore many locations. Stanley is a place with an English tradition in the south of HK-Island. After a hot and exciting day it was a welcome place to relax, have dinner and then going back to our hotel on Kowloon. This picture was taken just after sunset, a rising moon here is vanishing behind a hill. Pano out of 2 pictures, Olympus OM EM 5 with Elmarit R 60 mm.

9. It is the third year in which the monument of "Hermann the Cherusker" is being illuminated by a lasershow. The festival lasts for 10 days and each evening the 15 minuted show is being repeated, each time a bit different. The whole forest is being illuminated, filled by music. The moon was a great gift on that evening. The Leica Q served as my backup camera, while I documentethe show with my Canon 5D MK3. At least it is amazing what can be churned out of the Q. The only paramter was the ISO so I put it on Auto and it went quite hight because darkness was deep and the laser bright. I need 4.5 and speed was limited when handheld.
10. Breslau, (Wroclaw) - Poland After dinner we went out again into the rain, armed with plastic covers, tripods and prepared to face cold and wet and windy atrocities. This Bridge is famous and with its strange blue colour makes a good effect at any time
11. Given the current sensitivities we reach in low light, I often find myself in situations where, out of the camera and myself, I find the one needing more light to aim in the dark is me, rather than the Q which will imperturbably shoot at night with zero blur. I have come to think, what I need rather than a bulky flash is just a lamp to look myself at what I'm composing (and, maybe more often, to compensate backlightings). And so I tried. I now have one of these nice frontal LED lamps, that indeed allows me to compose and, to some extent, cleanup some backlightings. My concern is, that lamp is a high-T white ('blue'), when the remaining low light is almost always low-T ('yellow'), which sometimes results in relatively bizarre dual-color shots. Thus my questions: - are some of you also using lamps instead of flashes? - which models would you suggest? - did you encounter the T color issue? - is there a way, alternate to lamp selection, to postprocess a high-T lighting, maybe selecting a given blue value and shifting it to warmer yellows? TIA! Hervé
12. My walk during our city at the blue hour almost ended here and I was thinking about to have a nice draught. But then I decided to have a last shot of the day with this guest sitting outside a pub in February! Leica Q - 2.8 - 1/125 sec - ISO 8000
13. My last shot from that evening walk at the end of the Blue Hour merging into dusk. Leica, Q: 4.o - 1/125 - ISO 12000
14. Bielefeld has a few nice buildings left, even if 70 percent of the city was destroyed during WWII. There are tranquilles bylanes with restaurants, pubs and when I strolled there, not a single soul could be seen. Leica Q 2.8/ 1/60 sec/ ISO 1600
15. there is no winter here. We have mild temperatures and you can hear already birds chirping. So I can only post what is left by autumn here and a low light is being smooth and gentle to the faded plants. Olympus OMD-EM5 with R Summarit 50 mm
16. Gütersloh is a small city in our neighbourhood but an attractive place for a few big companies. This is the new building which is during daytime looking like a shopping mall but at night when being illuminated it is showing its purpose: it is the home of a new theatre and concert hall. The X1 one with 800 ISO was handheld and open lens and 1/30 sec. It is a snapshot just before rushing in for a concert.
17. Hi I've recently purchased an R4 fully aware of the electronic issues with them, the R4 I bought was in mint condition and rarely used. I've finally got round to loading some film and doing a shoot, it was working fine nothing out of the ordinary until the light meter suddenly stoped functioning completely, no lights or anything. I put it down to perhaps needing new batterys so I replaced them today but still nothing. If I look through the viewfinder whilst placing the batterys in theres a slight blip of light but nothing at all after that. If I press the button in to change the iso there is a red light on the top so obviously somethings working in. I'm fully aware this is probably just a fault and I'm going to have to give up but I just wondered if there was perhaps a fix and if not what does everyone suggest? Thanks

19. one sideglance and one can discover so much even when sun is almost gone and there is only one beam left almost fading. Canon 5D MKII, Elmarit macro R 60 mm and a reflector to light the cherries from below.
20. this Chinese grass is in our Botanical Garden placed between stones from the different periods of the earth ages. It was being lit up by the last sunbeams of the day. Leica X1
21. These days there are still leaves on the beech trees and the light can give a moment of magic. One has to be quick because the magic vanishes soon. Canon 5D MKII with Elmarit 60 mm macro + polarisation filter I am afraid the macro lost very much while scaling it down for the forum size. Nevertheless one can have a glimpse of the impression of the original. I used the 2xApo converter, and stacked 2 versions of different shutterspeed.
22. Hi everyone, i own both a m2 and a m4p. on all the rolls that ive shot on both cameras, ive noticed this weird flaring across the frame. i dont know if it is a light leak or if it could possibly be my lens. the m2 definately hasnt been cla'ed in a while but the m4p i just bought from a shop and has been cla'ed. i use a canon 50 1.4ltm and a voigtlander 35 1.4sc, but its the newer of the two lenses. Ive noticed that the rolls of film occasionally have flare across the top of the frame usually spanning from the top right to 3/4 of the way to the left but only in some frames. in the m2, this light streak crosses frames on the flim, whereas on the m4p, it doesnt but the flaring seems to be in the same position ass the m2 (top right to the left). i suspect that my canon 50 1.4 may be the issue however im not sure if a lens is even capable of that kind of effect. otherwise i think i may have a light leak but i dont think id get a leak in both cameras at the same spot. the attached photo is from the m4p. can anyone shed some light on the matter
