Hello everyone, I am posting my first message on this forum because I have a question/issue concerning my brand new Leica Q2 I bought last week. I used the camera just once shooting in RAW, auto white balance and all the other default factory settings. Everything is fine and perfect under normal light conditions. However when I am inside and I underexpose a photo (with low ISO settings- 400 ISO more or less) purple colors appear in the shadows. If I open the RAW file on my computer and in lightroom, these purple shadows remain. I tried to change the white balance on the camera etc. but it does not change anything. It is really weird as the conditions are not extreme, the photo is slightly underexposed and the settings used are totally normal. You can find at this link 2 photo samples : you can see purple on the desk and furniture on the photo L1000288. On the photo L1000282 you can see purple on the grey wall Does anyone have an idea ? Thanks a lot for your help Wissam

I went on a day trip to Saxon Switzerland with the M10R with 50mm APO and the Leica Q2 in my luggage. We were on the Gohrischstein, Pfaffenstein, Lilienstein and Bastei. Sunrise (view from Gohrischstein)

Hey, this is really strange. So I am installing the fotos app new and the firmware for the cameras (q2/sl2s) and I check the sl2s and it hit me that I can shoot with the camera while the app is open. Then I remember that I entered this as a request for the Q2 too. And I started the q2 and the app and no: in this combination you can't execute the camera and watch the result on the phone, which would be very convenient. So I don't understand why there is a difference in the operation of these two cameras. I work a lot side by side with them and I would love to have the feature. It's super helpful for low or high angle. And now that the pairing is a bit faster (20 - 30 s) I would definitaly use the app moire often.

The L on the roof On a roof terrazzo in south Spain. i never saw the potential of the roof all the years before. But this year I got some ideas on how to use it better. sometimes it takes a long time to get to the result. This is still work in progress. Will keep on posting to this subject.
