Leica Day is over now - time to show all images you've made!

Lots of images are already uploaded (more than 220 when I write this) but I'm sure there are some more to come.

OK - when you didn't already upload your image, it's time to catch up: Go to the Leica Day section of the L-Camera Gallery and upload your image.

L-Camera Forum Gallery - Leica Day

Having this done, you only have to go some easy steps to show it on the map:

1. Get the image URL

Go to your image in the gallery and copy the image URL.

You find it below the image and the technical data.

Copy the image URL (without the

... and click the link [Your entry].

3. Enter your data

Enter image title, description and the image URL you copied from the gallery.

Important: The software is far from perfect - so please do not use "&" or any kind of HTML code - this will wreck the whole map...

4. Locate it on the map

Drag the map in order to center your location and zoom in using the navigation tools on the left. When you can locate your spot perfectly click once to set your marker.

5. Insert the information!

Done!

If you want to watch me on the screen doing all these steps, you can watch this as screencast too:

It's important to get the URL of the image, not the enclosing webpage.

You may need to right (control) click on the image and copy the image address from the choices given. (I'll post a screenshot if that would help)

You need to "Copy image address"

(It's also interesting that the Gallery software renders the images slightly differently than the normal forum software)
