Wie @B. Lichter will ich da deutlich widersprechen – aus zwei Gründen: Erster Grund: Es gibt sehr unterschiedliche Zugänge, um Leica Fan zu werden: Über eine lange Karriere als Fotoamateur mit verschiedenen Systemen, um schließlich auf Basis seiner/ihrer langen Erfahrungen zu Leica zu finden. Aus Faszination für die Technik an sich oder … für die Geschichte der Leica oder aus Vergnügen an der haptischen Qualität oder dem Prozess (nicht dem Ergebnis) der reduzierten Art der Fotografie plus noch zig andere Motivationen, die nur tw. was mit dem Anspruch an das fotografische Ergebnis zu tun haben Da finde ich es nicht angemessen, pauschal einen Anspruch an die Qualität der Bilder aufzustellen – speziell, wenn es um einen IMHO relativ kleinen Aspekt geht. Zweiter Grund (da spreche ich vor allem als Moderator und Admin): Bedenklich wird es, wenn aus diesem Anspruch eine Abwertung anderer Leica Fans / Fotografen abgeleitet wird. Als mittlerweile voll assimilierter Rheinländer kann ich nur das Motto „Jeder Jeck ist anders“ empfehlen, das sehr zum eigenen Seelenfrieden und angenehmer Stimmung beiträgt. Andreas

We will therefore moderate this thread more strictly and delete posts that do not adhere to this rule. Topic are so-called "freezes" with Leica M11, M11-M, M11-P, which still occur after the last firmware update (V 2.0.2). With the last firmware updates, the stability of the software has been further optimized, but apparently there are still individual freeze messages that are difficult to pinpoint. In these cases, the camera no longer responds to inputs - the battery must be removed and reinserted in order to continue taking pictures. Vorbemerkung: Dies ist kein normaler Diskussions-Thread, sondern dient dazu, einzelne Problemfälle zu finden. Wir werden daher in diesem Thread stärker moderieren und Posts löschen, die sich nicht an diese Regel halten. Es geht um sog. „Freezes“ mit Leica M11, M11-M, M11-P, die nach dem letzten Firmware-Update (V 2.0.2) noch auftreten. Mit den letzten Firmware Updates wurde die Stabilität der Software immer weiter optimiert, aber anscheinend gibt es immer noch einzelne Freeze-Meldungen, die sich schlecht eingrenzen lassen. In diesen Fällen zeigt die Kamera keine Reaktion mehr auf Eingaben - der Akku muss rausgenommen und wieder eingesetzt werden, um weiter zu fotografieren. Da sich die Erfahrungen der Betroffenen auf verschiedene Threads verteilen, würden wir gerne euer Feedback in diesem Thread bündeln, um eine Übersicht zu bekommen und Daten für eine gemeinsame Ursache zu finden. Um für uns den Überblick zu erleichtern, folgende Bitte: Meldet euch nur, wenn ihr genau dieses Problem mit Firmware V 2.0.2 habt. Falls möglich, gibt Information darüber, wie häufig Freezes auftreten und unter welchen Umständen. Ich spüre hier gerade „täglich grüßt das Murmeltier“-Schwingungen. Wer schon etwas länger dabei ist, erinnert sich vielleicht an die Bilderflut-Debatten (gerade nachgeschaut – Ende 2010) – die schon damals nervig und tendenziell toxisch war. Meine dringende Bitte (diplomatisch für „klare Ansage“): Definiert eure Ansprüche bitte für euch und nicht für andere. Kritisiert Bilder gerne: Am konkreten Bild, mit hilfreicher Kritik (nein, „kann in die Tonne“ ist keine hilfreiche Kritik) und dort wo es angemessen ist. Die „Barnack’s Monthly“ Threads sind z.B. nicht der geeignete Ort für differenzierte Bildkritik. Wie @XOONS schreibt: Sie sind eher so was gewollte Bilderflut mit großem Spaßfaktor für alle aktiven (und die meisten passiven) Leser. Ein Like dort ist nicht zu werten als: „Du hast hier ein Leica Meisterstück veröffentlicht“, sondern als schnelle Sympathiebezeugung. Andreas

Zu der gestellten Frage. Transparent gemacht werden muss, wenn jemand in irgendeiner Form kommerzielle Interessen verfolgt. „Leica Händler sein“ ist kein kommerzielles Interesse, geschweige denn„Angehöriger eines Leica Händlers sein“. Ich kenne viele Leica Händler, deutsch und international. Die meisten davon sind auch Leica Fans, einige diskutieren hier aktiv als solche mit. Beschwerden über sie gab es – wo weit ich mich erinnern kann – in den letzten 24 Jahren keine. Wenn jemand da einen anderen Verdacht hat: Konkret melden oder mich direkt anschreiben. Und nicht öffentlich diskutieren – weil das Gift für jede Community ist, wenn der diffuse Eindruck / Behauptung / Unterstellung im Raum steht, dass irgendjemand eine Agenda verfolgt und dies nicht transparent macht.
