I am currently preparing a survey on the subject of RAW converters.

With similar surveys it happened again and again that during the running survey still other programs appeared.
So that this doesn't happen again, this time the question in advance to you:

Do the RAW converters you use appear in the following list?

If not, please comment and link!

Thanks for your help!

Andreas

Fujifilm Raw File Converter is Fuji's freestanding package (based on Silkpix):

https://fujifilm-x.com/en-gb/support/download/software/raw-file-converter-ex-powered-by-silkypix/

The package mentioned above, X Raw Studio, is a special case, a package that can only be used when the camera is tethered, and uses the camera's built-in raw converter.

Capture One Express is a free cut-down version of Capture One that arguably deserves its own entry. It comes in 3 manufacturer-specific versions for Fujifilm, Sony, and Nikon:

The Nikon download does not seem to be linked from the main page for some reason. Here it is:

https://www.captureone.com/en/account/download/capture-one-express-for-nikon

Hasselblad Phocus:

https://www.hasselblad.com/phocus/

On the Mac, Phocus does not just process Hasselblad raw files, but all the common raw formats that macOS supports. This doesn't work on Windows, which doesn't have the same OS-level raw support.

DXO Pure Raw 3 for conversion only, Adobe Bridge - Adobe Photoshop 2023. I do have C1Pro, Luminar Neo, On1 but never use them. On my phone I normally use Snapseed, also Lightroom and PS Express or PS Fix.

FastRawViewer

I only use FastRaw Viewer sometimes- when I want to scrutinize raw files. My go-to processors are LR for database, ON1 for processing and Topaz for noise reduction. I also really like DXO PureRaw but need more time on it. Otherwise list looks pretty good 😀
