You can now do both - the lens itself and also the circular hood.( For the OLLUX-replica hood there is no filter thread in the hood)

Compare that with the asph lux & that lens is a beast. 3x larger & almost twice as heavy.

There are different versions of the V2. The one with the infinity lock has 192g for example. Which one is yours?

Just a tiny bit of steel hehe : p But yeah the v2 (- infinity lock version & titanium) are all much lighter. Wonder why the steel rim remake weights 15g less than the original though, while being larger. Maybe because of the way the infinity lock is not a separate piece anymore? The titanium reminds me of a dealer who told me to buy this lens, he rarely advised or recommended I make a purchase. I didn't and now wish I had. Oh the missed opportunities! Perhaps I'll start a thread about Leica I could have but didn't buy.
simonwesterlund Posted October 25, 2022 Share #154 Posted October 25, 2022 I'm thinking of converting an old lux 35mm to 6bit, can anyone with the new steel rim post how the exif metadata will look like? Thanks!

Milan_S Posted October 25, 2022 Share #158 Posted October 25, 2022 I was one of the field testers for the 35mm Summilux f1.4 and also have the original one (without Goggles). The rendering is very very close although I prefer the glow a bit more of the old one. Leica M10-R with reissue Steel Rim 35mm f1.4. Btw sizes are different and shade of the new one won't fit the old one (as with the 50mm f1.2 reissue). Welcome, dear visitor!
