SL2s and APS-C

I have recently acquired a SL2-s with the much appreciated IBIS system for my old shaky hands.  I especially like the

35mm/ APS-C, switch that magnifies any lens by 1.5.....(50mm AOV is that of 75mm).  The picture quality with the

APS-C size is quite good.  But what is the MP size of the APS-C  when I leave the 35mm, 24MP setting?...10?...12??

I can't seem to find it in the manual.

Thanks, Sully

Page 88 of the manual. 10.3 MP. I just received my SL2-s and am pouring over the manual trying to dial it in to my liking. Personally I came to the SL2-s in part because I was sick of the APS-c crop of my M lenses on my Fuji XT3 so I am unlikely to use that mode much but it may be handy to "pre-crop" some images that I know will be needing it. Happy shooting!

Thanks matted!  I flat out missed it.  If I remember correctly, this is what the M8 had

when it came out.  I also have loads of good pictures from my M8s at the lower MP

count.  So, I should be happy with the SL2s APS-C size pix.  I find it quite fast and easy

to switch to APS-C in the SL2s.

Thanks,  Sully

Indeed, it is just a hair over what my first digital SLR had (Nikon D200, also APS-C) which I have recently looked at some of the files from and they are certainly not lacking unless you are looking to print big. Would be interesting to compare them directly and see what 15+ years of sensor development has yielded. I certainly wasn't shooting comfortably at ISO 25,000.... in fact I recall being hesitant to cross ISO 1250!
