Hi there! Updated my SL2-S yesterday via the Photos App to Firmware Vers. 6.0. To my astonishment the zoom/magnification function by pressing the joystick button doesn't work anymore. If you scroll through the menu and select the joystick options, the "zoom" option for MF lenses is not there anymore. This is rather annoying when using MF lenses. The only way you can use the magnification is by using the thumb wheel. This is less than ideal to say the least. Anyone else with the same experience or is it just me being to stupid to find the right setting on Firmware 6.0 ?? Thanks for your help. Andy

I bought a T lens to use on my SL - the 23/2.0 - but when I attach it I get the message "Lens firmware not supported. Please update firmware." The firmware in my SL is up to date - 1.2. Does the lens have to be updated on a Leica T camera? I hope not. I don't have one, don't know anybody who has one, and the nearest Leica dealer is in Atlanta. Surely there has to be some way around this!

Perhaps we could try to gather wishes for firmware update in a designated thread. Such a collection of wishes & demands have turned useful for other systems, so let's have a go here as well. A few starters picked up from other threads: * Ability to use the 4-way back button for back-focussing (yes, please....) * Ability to change aperture on L-lenses when in video mode * Add 24 fps in video mode

For unknown reason(s) an oddity is happening with indicated exposure times seen in viewfinder. After making an exposure, for the next two exposures there is no variation in indicated exposure time when panning about with camera. After the third exposure, the indication again varies properly as you pan about different scenes. Then repeats. As if there were an unwanted exposure lock mode in effect for 2nd and 3rd shot of a 3 shot sequence.. Cannot find any obvious settings error likely to be the cause. The bracketing is set to 0. Tried to reload latest firmware but it "completes" in about two seconds so never happened. Does Leica determine the actual present checksum of the loaded firmware and decide that a reload is not necessary?? What am I missing here? Thanks.

Leica rumors mentioned an upcoming firmware update that should take care of the power off issues many of us have experienced with our Q3 cameras.
