hofo100 Posted February 4, 2022 Share #24 Posted February 4, 2022 16-35mm, 24-90mm, 50mm, 90mm, 90-280mm (all Leica L lenses) here is a statistic from my lens utlization in 2021 (pulled from the filter menu in Lightroom) - found it somewhat satisfying to see that I use what I buy - which is a good argument for any next purchases Welcome, dear visitor! FlashGordonPhotography Posted February 4, 2022 Share #27 Posted February 4, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) 14-24, SL 16-35, SL 24-90, SL 90-280, 100-400, 150-600, 1.4 TC, SL 50*2, 85, SL90. I also use the Canon 17, 24, 50 TSE lenses. I don't own a Canon body plus an Nikon 90mm TS. I very rarely use some SIgma EF lenses adapted. A 12-24mm and an 85mm 1.4. I own all the CL lenses as well. I have 6 R lenses which I only use occasionally. Currently my Q2 is my 28mm solution. I may pick up a 28 'cron at some stage. I have a dozen or so M lenses but I don't use them on the SL. Manual_Focus Posted February 4, 2022 Share #28 Posted February 4, 2022 14-24 Sigma DG DN, VE 24-90 SL I have not been a fan of zooms for sometime, but added these 2 to my kit. I plan on adding the 90-280 this year. All of my primes are m or f mount 3rd party - Voigtlander/Zeiss and use them all, but I am so far very happy with the IQ and sharpness of these 2 zooms and I expect the 90-280 to be no different. Olaf_ZG Posted February 4, 2022 Share #29 Posted February 4, 2022 Just bought my first one: the 45mm dn. Used, but so cheap I could not let it go. In time I hope to upgrade below 28mm and above 100mm. In between is for M.

As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! The chart is really telling. If it came to it I could do pretty well everything I need with Leica 24-90 / 90-280 and Q2. My M10-R and 28/35/50/135 feel a bit out in the cold at the moment. I never thought I’d see the day. I blame Leica for making such tediously excellent lenses!
didier Posted February 6, 2022 Share #33 Posted February 6, 2022 I use the SL for color, as my other (main) camera has been a M10M for 2 years now. I mainly shoot with the ‘lux 50 SL. I also own the 90-280 which I have rarely used since covid times as we didn’t travel

Stef63 Posted February 7, 2022 Share #35 Posted February 7, 2022 Only two native SL lenses (that I hardly use on my SL2) : 18 TL Elmarit and 35 1.2 Sigma Art ... but more frequently used : 16 M, LTM and R lenses in various focal lengths ranging from 15 to 280 mm with SL adapter.
Stef63 Posted February 7, 2022 Share #36 Posted February 7, 2022 (edited) Like I did in the M lenses list that was also started by @setuporg earlier this year here are some stats. Note that in the M lens forum the data is based on 93 responses up until today and here in the SL section we have only 27 respondents. Way to go ! Top 4 in fixed focal length (% of users having this focal length) 50 mm (52%) 35 mm (41%) 90 mm (22%) 75mm (19%) Top 4 zooms 24-90 mm (63%) 16-35 mm (30%) 90-280 mm (26%) 150-600 mm (15%) Prime vs zoom lens owners Combination Prime & Zoom (63%) Only Prime lenses (26%) Only Zoom lenses (11%) In average we count 4,1 lenses per respondent (versus almost 10 in the M lens list) Note also that I filtered out all R and M lenses per request of the topic starter. For example: 16-35 -> 18, 24, 35 or 16-21, 28 or 16-21, 35 24-90 -> 24, 50, 90 or 24, 35, 75 or 28, 50, 90 Edited February 7, 2022 by beewee
