But a decent supply of champers. The Leica Bellevue re-opening of the new boutique was a lot of fun and I was fun to catch up with some old friends. Never seen so many people in one place with Leica’s strapped on them: even saw one person with both a “Red’ 262 (with its matching red 50APO), and a Zagato M10 with a silver 1,2 Noctilux reissue 🙂 No product announcement but word in the crowd is that Leica Rumors has/is correct regarding the P. algrove Posted October 24, 2023 Share #88 Posted October 24, 2023 On second thought how about a Q3Mono. Leica has so many choices over the next few months and years it is mind boggling. M11P, M12, Mevf, Q3Mono, SL3, SL3S, SL3mono, M12Mono. I would love to see more 24MP cameras personally.

I think Leica is in a fairly comfortable position now, having a number if product lines that works really well. Very easy to plan and predict what to release when. With few odd choises in-between as to full-frame, built-in EVF and such. But the overall strategy is easy to draw up for the next 3-6-9 years.

jgeenen Posted October 26, 2023 Share #92 Posted October 26, 2023 Just the usual (and no brass body 🙂 - but take a close look at the pictures on leicarumors. It seems that there is an update of the 28mm Summicron in flight that takes a similar barrel design than the recently updated 35mm and 50mm Summilux. 1

cj3209 Posted October 26, 2023 Share #97 Posted October 26, 2023 Expected the additional internal storage and sapphire glass. Not enough to buy over a discounted M11 though. And Leica could have saved the authentication chip for the M12. This is a forgettable model.
