I also have TL2 and 3 very good zoom. (+ M Leica) But I do not want to expand and buy new - unless I know for sure that Leica is developing the APSC system. But of course I will both use and enjoy the equipment I have. But if NEW customers do not come, the system will die out. Sigma seems to be still active. The current CL, IMO, is still an excellent option compared to the latest APS-C offering (e.g., Fuji and Nikon). You mean the APS specific lenses vs FF L-mount? I think there remains an attractive advantage to using the small/compact lenses on the CL when you don't need/want to carry the larger stuff. Numerous reasons. The 24/3.5 provides a 36mm f/5.25 equivalent - much slower and larger than the 23/2. The 45/2.8 is compact but odd focal length on APS and low light AF suffers relative to the 35/1.4 and the 30/1.4. There is no Sigma that offers a 28mm FOV on the CL. Certainly nothing that compact. Which ones compare favorably in size and weight to the TL18, TL23, or TL18-56? Sigma's DG DN Contemporary lenses are very nice and compact but heavier than Sigma's corresponding APS-C lenses. I never saw a reply to the question why FF has this apparent supreme status for DIGITAL cameras. Surely it has to be more than a marketing thing?
