I'm constantly impressed by your post processing skills. BW rendering is contrasty yet still very "natural" looking and "sharp". Great!👏

I bought my M10-R in November, fully aware of the impending release of the M11.   As more M11 information was leaked and weighing-up the pros and cons of what was likely with the M11, I decided the M10-R was the better option for now but if a future M12 is worth upgrading to, I'll  consider it.

My M10-R is the first digital Leica M I've ever bought, none of the previous versions from M8 through to the M10 and colour sensor M10 derivatives have held much appeal to me for various reasons and 24mp is a backward step that I'm not prepared to take.  40mp is my sweet spot for 35mm ff.  If I want more resolution than that I'd take a stabilised 'medium format' sensor camera.

I'm not someone who has experienced the (unintentional) "motion blur" with my M10-R that you refer to.  It is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned and I've used 36mp Nikon dslr's for years in my professional life without a problem either.

After a week with the 10-R i've figured out the way of working with it now, my way at least. I can still get the "motion blur" that troubled me when I first tried out a R a year or so back, but a higher shutter speed solves that relatively small problem and I am finding that I do like the colour palette of this camera, and that's from someone who prefers B&W! I find it different to the "older" 24 mp sensors in the 10, P and D cameras, not "better" just different and I can see that with more understanding of the differences I would be in the position to be able to choose which camera suits best what I want to photograph, the R or the D.............If that's too confusing I'll just pick up the M10-M again and to hell with colour.

On a similar track I am considering trading in this week my Q, ( the first iteration of that camera,116? ), against a Q2 Mono', that and trying out a new Adox B&W film kind of says it all regarding my present imagining choices.

This beautiful image brings to mind the « lamplighter» in Le Petit Prince. (The Little Prince. Saint-Exupéry)

One of the things I like most about the M10 is the quiet shutter.  I enjoy photographing "critters", and none of them seem to mind when the M10 takes a shot.  This fellow heard something, and looked to my right, but never noticed me or the camera until I moved....

A 50cc GP bike! That's awesome. Brings back memories of my own racing 40+ years ago. I was too big for something like that but they were cool.
