Appreciate if you could at least spell my name right Patrick, your “thanks” might sound ambiguous in nature.

Hi Ken, please accept my apologies. I should have checked my reply more carefully for typos. But I appreciate your response and I am trying to learn from it.

Is the vignette that severe with the APO wide open or did you add it in post?  Nice shot, though...

Wow--what a beautiful image!  The moment I saw it I thought, "That's gotta be San Francisco!"  Cha-ching--major emotional response in a viewer (because I grew up in Marin and love SF).  Thanks so much for posting!

That is the vignetting produced by the lens.  I’ve also noticed a more-than-expected amount of vignetting with the 28mm Summicron at f/8.  I believe Sean Reid in 9ne of his M10M reviews shows that the M10M vignettes more than the Typ 246.  By the way, I have shading turned on in the menu.

50mm Apo-Summicron, f/4, 1/350, ISO 5000, cropped.  It was hard to decide how to process this; OOC it had a dreamier look that I liked.

What does the shading option do?
