How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Is the vignette that severe with the APO wide open or did you add it in post?  Nice shot, though...

Wow--what a beautiful image!  The moment I saw it I thought, "That's gotta be San Francisco!"  Cha-ching--major emotional response in a viewer (because I grew up in Marin and love SF).  Thanks so much for posting!

That is the vignetting produced by the lens.  I’ve also noticed a more-than-expected amount of vignetting with the 28mm Summicron at f/8.  I believe Sean Reid in 9ne of his M10M reviews shows that the M10M vignettes more than the Typ 246.  By the way, I have shading turned on in the menu.

So I have this silly kind of pattern: unboxing a camera and try to check the rangefinder alignment starting with a selfie. Had nobody else at home anyway, and not even a banana to make a fruit basket.

Got these stupid mirror-selfies with M8.2, M9, M9M, M240, M246, M10, and since yesterday M10M. As time goes by, the sensors are delivering much more details, and of course nobody gets any younger. So I guess it will be the last time I'll do this stupid game 😐

But that file (2000 ISO, 1/90th and f:2.8 with the APO Cron 50, just cropped but untouched for the other settings), really pleased me for the details found in the lowlights. The only clipping highlight is the ring of the Gordy's strap.
