...here is another one from my sunset day mining shooting - a pano stitched from 15 vertical shots with the VE 90-280mm @106mm. It is certainly not impressive watching it on the screen, but total size is 368MP and it will be possible  to print it 4m wide at 300ppi. So maybe I should reach out to the mining company and suggest this would be a good one for their board room? ;)

Pixel overload.  Watching the Farkas and Lehrer show last night, there was a part where David enthused about all the detail that multishot 8-frrame superresolution can supply, and he showed an excellent example from Colorado.  Well it's been some months since I used multishot, and there has been a firmware upgrade, so I headed out this morning to find a high detail image.  This one required a panorama, not multishot, since the SL 35 SC couldn't take it all in.

The end result is about 130,000 pixels.  Click through and you can see then at about half of final resolution.

Incidentally, Farkas said something incorrect.  He makes a point of turning off IBIS before going to multi-shot.  There's no need for that, since the multi routine turns off IBIS in order to take over control.  Leaving IBIS on has no effect.
