How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

 Leica Q2, Washington, DC, at f1.7 at Roosevelt Memorial.  I tried to repeat a shot taken few months ago with 28 Summilux at f1.4, here.  Which one do you prefer? Please advise.  And,  more on the Memorial is here.

Cette dernière série est très belle et très poétique.

Par ailleurs, celle-ci prouve qu'un beau travail sur un Q2 "de base" n'a que très peu à envier au Q2 Monochrome ... 😉

A gentle suggestion and not trying to be critical. I think you could improve the image considerably if you cropped in on the woman, who is beautiful and looks like a model. Place her at the 1/3rd point to the right side. It would highlight her with the beautiful building in the distance. It puts “room” in front of her which makes a pleasing composition. A very nice photo regardless.
