Overgaard Lens Shade Not Received

I wonder why those red shades are available? Something so incredibly beautiful would surely be in high demand and on perpetual backorder. 😂

On a more serious note, it's hard for me to imagine what kind of individual would market a camera bag made from elephant hide. On that basis alone I will never purchase anything from or by Mr. Overgaard.

Those TvO lens shades look like every other generic hood that can be found on eBay for 10 bucks. Can't believe people still buying cr@p from that individual but whatever rocks your boat...

The Red ones  are pretty cool if you want to color coordinate  your Kit. The Red one i have for sale  was an impulse purchase because they were out of stock on the Black one.

When I received my Black one I realized i no longer needed the  Red one.

Wish I had seen this thread before I ordered a lens shade from Thorsten von Overgaard. Placed order back in February and received a confirmation and billing to my CC in May. Since then nothing and attempts to contact Mr Overgaard have produced no results other than silence.

After all these messages here about incorrect deliveries of lens shades, I would only buy one from him at a personal meeting as a goods-for-money trade.
My impression is that one who lives in higher spheres. should stay out of this for him obviously unattractive small parts business.

Looks like it was painted by a graffiti artist when he had a spare minute.

I took that Photo with my Silly phone when I finally received my 2nd BLACK  shade.  I purchased the Red one because i was told that the Black ones were out of stock(even though the site said they were IN stock.) The color actually went well with my 2nd Q2M.. But i did prefer Black... The Red one is STILL available!!

I requested a refund via PayPal.  It's been a month with no communication and I've sent 2 emails to the firm.

I ordered a ventilated shade from Overgaard's web site, Black - IN STOCK.

After 6months no order confirmation, no contact, I found email-Adam; who profusely apologised and said I  was on the list! Rest assured.

Patience exhausted I went through PayPal to refund for goods not received, they read my numerous emails and their response. PayPal found in my favour refunded me the full amount.

During the time PayPal were assessing my refund claim I contacted Adam and said to make sure to cancel the order.

Money refunded from PayPal in the bank and the whole transaction was horrendous, what a lucky escape.
