Leica M Film Photos -- Feel Free to Share Yours

Recommended Posts

I've not tried the cine films but have thought about it and Stephen's pictures are certainly an inspiration for those interested in a "cinematic" film look.

Here in the UK there is a small photo lab that sells rolled-up cine films (taken from short-ends supplied by the film industry) and ECN2/Remjet processing (including kits for DIY).  I have been using them for C41 processing with excellent results.  Maybe it is time to try ECN2 ... https://ntphotoworks.com

Now he's another interesting thing.

I got close to the guys at Silbersalz this week because I really like their scanning methods. We've spoken about Portra, and it turns out that they believe that they might be able to get very interesting results when developing Portra stock in their ECN-2 sauce.

So naturally I volunteered to become a beta tester for that, and I just sent them 10 rolls of Portra 160 that I shot in the mountains. Film hasn't reached them yet, but I cant wait to see how it turns out.

I'll share it here if there is any interest!

Definitely interested to see the results 😊
thanks a lot for sharing.

Great photos, really like them. They are filled with life 😊

One thing I love about the scans of that lab is that the get the entire image (see the black frames) while most other labs crop in a bit.

I like that, too, but the frame does not appear square.  Like it has some distortion.  Is that an artifact of their scanner or something else?

More fun with the lens wide open, but this time it's the Summilux-M 35mm ASPH.

Devil's Bridge, Bulgaria. I bet nobody has ever though about photographing it like this. :D
