wlaidlaw Posted December 12, 2017 Share #81 Posted December 12, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just heard today that my CL and 18-56 kit has arrived at LCE Derby - only to be told that the packaging is damaged and has to be returned to Leica!! Edward I hope that might mean my CL-Zoom kit is on the way to Ffordes as well. My family start arriving tomorrow for various days over holiday period. If the CL does not arrive soon I will have to get my SL back from the person I lent it to (to see if he wants one). The high ISO performance of the SL with a Noctilux .95, means I can dispense with flash for indoors shots. Wilson

Mark Pope Posted December 13, 2017 Share #82 Posted December 13, 2017 I put a deposit down with Red Dot Cameras for a CL and zoom kit on Monday. I think I'm no. 4 on the list. They have ordered 8 kits some of which may arrive before Christmas.
Tobers Posted December 13, 2017 Share #83 Posted December 13, 2017 Anyone seen sight of a black 18mm lens anywhere (in the UK). Lens only, not the body.

RCW Posted December 15, 2017 Share #85 Posted December 15, 2017 I picked up my CL and 18/56 zoom yesterday (14 December) from Photo and Video in Christchurch, NZ. They had no kits in stock but let me have the set in separate boxes for the same price as the kit. It's a magical little camera.
jaapv Posted December 15, 2017 Share #86 Posted December 15, 2017 According to my Leica Store they are trickling in - slowly. More bodies than kits. jaapv Posted December 15, 2017 Share #88 Posted December 15, 2017 Well, I could have had it in my hands this evening, as our Leica store offers same-day delivery, but I opted for Monday. Looking forward! It took one week from ordering to delivery.

Learner Posted December 15, 2017 Share #91 Posted December 15, 2017 Returned? Does Leica have a policy regarding returns? Is it akin to Apple's broad14-day return policy, or is acceptance of a return a matter for individual dealers? Any re-stocking fee?
scott kirkpatrick Posted December 15, 2017 Share #92 Posted December 15, 2017 It looks like by next week sometime, Popflash will have received six or more CLs, some bodies, some as kits, including mine!

Mark Pope Posted December 18, 2017 Share #98 Posted December 18, 2017 Apparently, I'm at the top of Red Dot Cameras' list, so the next zoom kit that comes in is mine. There's a slim chance that it will arrive before Christmas. I've ordered the M adaptor and a spare battery for it as well.
reynoldsyoung Posted December 20, 2017 Share #99 Posted December 20, 2017 Picked up a CL at the Leica Store DC two days ago.....very fast shipping...great service!!
wlaidlaw Posted December 20, 2017 Share #100 Posted December 20, 2017 Should have had my CL zoom kit today but apparently Parcelforce cannot find my address. Assume they have taken on extra staff over Christmas who don't know the local area. As it is a rural area, local knowledge is essential. GPS and post codes just are not accurate enough. Not happy Finally got through to Parcelforce help desk, after being on hold for over 20 minutes, only to find it is a call centre in Mumbai, who have even less of a clue than their delivery driver did.
